Plattco seats and flappers are the two most critical parts in any Plattco Double Flap Valve. When properly maintained, they allow your valve to operate like new. The Plattalloy XL seat and flapper take reliability to the next level, extending the time between service intervals and eliminating costly unplanned downtime.

Plattco EZ Seats

Smaller, easier to handle components
Multiple sealing options (elastomer, rubber, metal, sacrificial coatings)
Benefits:

Quicker and safer to change than our Standard Seats (due to less weight)
Decreases risk of damage to the housing during installation compared to standard seats
Cost effective option for customers who do not participate in regrind program due to shipping costs or transit times

No rotary action, eliminating the need to build a clearance (leakage) into the valve
Housing is not part of the seal so it can last for decades in the worst operational environments
Airlock is maintained even if the material is abrasive, corrosive, and/or is pressurized or subject to high temperatures
Full throat opening eliminates bridging, jamming, & material build up, allowing the passage of large, chunky, fibrous materials and/or foreign objects that may enter the system
